Bi-fold doors for the bathroom? Opinions welcomed?
l just asked a ? about space saving doors.. since then I've found that l
really like the white vented bifolds and they would look fantastic BUT,
since Im improving to resell in a few yrs l wanna be sure ppl wo not see
the vented doors as a privacy issue
I think it would be a poor choice.
It looks cheap and doesn't give a sense of privacy.
Privacy, sound, smell. And if it is a ''community'' bathroom &
not a master bath, that would be even worse. I wouldn't even use the
bathroom if I was visiting in someones house that had these kind of doors.
You would be able to hear everything that the person was doing. If I saw
that in a house I was going to buy, it would sorely stand out. The door
would be the first thing I would want to replace. The only other time I
have seen bi-fold doors for a bathroom was in a little trailer or RV & at least that one wasn't vented!
I didn't see the first question so I don't know which bath. If
the master bath I wouldn't have a problem with it since I never close the
door anyway. A hall bath would freak me out with a door you could see
through.
